🤔 Why Am I Fixing Computers for My Parents and my Kids?

Why don’t my kids know what I know? Why did my parents know things I never learned? Each generation grows up loving different things. My parents could fix cars. I can fix computers. My kids? They have their own skills.

🚗👨‍🔧 When Cars Were Simple

My parents grew up with simple, mechanical cars—easy to take apart and fix. It was a hype, and many people were passionate about learning. They learned hands-on, from the bottom up, solving problems and feeling proud.

🤖🔧 Modern Machines Are Tough

Modern cars are full of computers—“black boxes” needing specialized tools. Mechanics now diagnose and replace parts instead of fixing them. The personal connection is fading.

💻🧩 Why My Kids Struggle

Tech Is Everywhere To kids, tech is normal and everywhere.

Complexity Modern tech has many layers—hardware, software, networks. It’s overwhelming without focus.

Sealed Devices Devices are sealed, requiring special tools, so kids miss out on hands-on learning.

🔄 The Cycle Continues

Each generation has its own skills. My parents fixed cars, I fix computers, and my kids will master something new. Our job is to nurture their curiosity, making learning fun and accessible.
